  • Download XAMPP

Visit the official website of XAMPP and select your current operating system, and hit the Download button. The file size is around 150MB, and you must allow the file time to be downloaded.

  • The second step is to unzip it. After you have downloaded the program, it is necessary to unzip it. Once the file is complete, click on the Install button or click it two times, and the installation process has started.

  • Open a new tab in your browser and go to localhost/PHPMyAdmin.
  • Make sure you write the same name as you’ve written on your disk. Then, click the Create button. Your database will be set up in just a few minutes.
  • You’ve successfully set up your localhost databases. Now is the time for you to configure WordPress on your localhost.
